About Anchor Point Integrative Therapy in Bloomingdale, IL

After decades of leading organizations and holding space for communities, I found something unexpected in private practice: room to simply be present with one person at a time. Calming the white noise and holding space for one individual, couple, or family. Just the work, the relationship, and the chance to follow your lead. It turned out that after all those years, this is what I had been moving toward all along. It was my own anchor point.

That practice became Anchor Point Integrative Therapy.

We believe healing happens when the mind, body, and heart are held together—not treated as separate problems to solve. We know that what lives in your nervous system shows up in your thoughts. What you carry emotionally has a home in your body. Integration isn't about fixing pieces; it's about recognizing you as a whole person.

Here's what that means in practice: insight alone doesn't heal. You can understand your patterns perfectly and still feel stuck. Real change happens when your nervous system learns—through presence, through safety in relationship, through the actual felt experience of being different—that you're capable of something new.

We meet you where you are. We follow your lead. We believe the relationship is the work, not a backdrop to it. We work from a trauma-informed lens because we understand how experience shapes us—and how safety in relationship begins to reshape what's possible.

Anchored here. Growing forward.
